آیین افتتاح شبکه ریلی منطقه گل‌گهر، با حضور دکتر خاندوزی، وزیر امور اقتصادی و دارایی و هیئت همراه برگزار شد.

به گزارش روابط‌عمومی شرکت توسعه، عمران و مديريت منطقه گل‌گهر، همزمان با سفر رئیس‌جمهور و هیئت دولت به استان کرمان و سفر دکتر خاندوزی، وزیر امور اقتصادی و دارایی به شهرستان سیرجان و با حضور نماینده مردم سيرجان در مجلس شورای اسلامی، سرپرست فرمانداری ویژه سیرجان، مديرعامل شرکت معدنی و صنعتی گل‌گهر، مديرعامل شرکت توسعه، عمران و مديريت منطقه گل‌گهر و مدیران عامل شرکت‌های منطقه، شبکه ریلی منطقه گل‌گهر مورد افتتاح قرار گرفت.

عملیات احداث شبکه ریلی منطقه گل‌گهر به عنوان یکی از بزرگترین پروژه‌های ریلی کشور با همت نیروهای متخصص شرکت توسعه، عمران و مدیریت منطقه گل‌گهر شامل انجام کلیه عملیات‌های خاکی، احداث ابنیه فنی شامل ۲۲ پل آب‌رو، ۷ تقاطع غیرهمسطح و حدود یک میلیون مترمکعب خاک‌برداری و خاک‌ریزی با اعتباری بالغ بر ۷۵۰۰ میلیارد ریال اجرا شده است.

در بخش روسازی شبکه ریلی منطقه گل‌گهر ۷۲ کیلومتر شبکه ریلی با استفاده از ۱۰.۰۰۰ تن پروفیل ریلی ساخت شرکت ذوب‌آهن اصفهان و ۱۰۰ دستگاه سوزن ریلی ساخت شرکت ایرید و با یاری‌گرفتن از توان تولید داخلی ملی و توانمندی پیمانکاران بومی استان کرمان اجرا شده است.

پروژه ریلی اجرا شده در منطقه گل‌گهر یکی از شاخص‌ترین پروژه‌های ریلی حوزه صنعت در ایران اسلامی و ایستگاه مبادله‌ای آن با ۲۹ خط موازی ریلی، عریض‌ترین ایستگاه ریلی در سطح کشور به‌شمار می‌آید که به‌صورت ۶ خط آنتنی، طراحی و اجرا گردیده است و قابلیت حمل ۱۵ میلیون تن بار در سال را دارا می باشد.
